In modern society most people encounter stressful situations on a daily basis. When people are perpetually in a heightened state of stress they operate from the sympathetic branch of the nervous system, our so called ‘fight or flight’ response. “Fight or Flight” is our bodys primitive, automatic inborn response that prepres the body to “fight” or “flee” from perceived attack, harm or threat to our survival.
Therapeutic remedial massage can counteract the effects of this physiological response and prevent further problems by releasing the build up of anxiety, tension and stress that can manifest as mental and physical symptoms.
About Louise
I qualified in Therapeutic Remedial Massage from the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine and have a degree in Bioligy, combine they give me an in-depth knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physioligy. I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years alongside medical professionals in Moray and the Highlands, to help improve standards in client care. This role has given me a sound understanding of conventional medicine and many different disease areas. My knowledge base and practical skills allow me to approach the treatment of clients holistically.
